What is external wall insulation?

External wall insulation is a type of insulation that is secured to the outside of your walls. Two layers of material are used, one to provide insulation, and another of mineral or synthetic render to protect from the weather and also provide the finishing look of your homes.











How much heat is saved?

We measure how much heat is saved via the use of the U- value, it measures how useful a material is as an insulator. The lower the U-value the better insulator the material is. Therefore lower U-values tell us that more heat is saved.
